Code of Ethics

We, the members of KALC, solemnly declare that we agree with the terms of the above Code of Conduct & Ethics.
And We will faithfully follow and implement each ethical principle, in accordance of our own free will.
  • 01 Members are expected to respect human dignity & value, and devote themselves to protecting and promoting human health by administering medical care appropriately and fairly.
  • 02 Members are to maintain a relationship of trust and respect with patients and protect the patient's best interests and privacy.
  • 03 Members are strongly encouraged to continue to study, apply and advance scientific knowledge, and actively participate in medical education and training.
  • 04 Members protect the rights, safety, and welfare of research participants, and adhere to ethical standards.
  • 05 Members must conduct diagnosis and treatment according to their professional conscience, based on medically recognized knowledge and skills, while also maintaining dignity and honor.
  • 06 Members must do their best to maintain the trust of both their patients and society by securing objectivity and reliability of medical information.
  • 07 Members must treat all fellow medical professionals with respect and loyalty, while working together to improve patient(s) safety and quality of care.
  • 08 Members must respect every patient's personality and their right to self-determination, as to reduce the patient's pain in the face of death. They must do their best to allow the patient to die with dignity.
  • 09 Members must respect the patient's right to know, and protect the patient's confidentiality and personal information learned in the course of their duties.
  • 10 Members are strongly encouraged to actively participate in activities, which purpose are to, to establish a desirable medical environment by using medical resources fairly and appropriately.
